American John started at a garage workbench in Mesa, Arizona — a single maker cutting keychains and decals for neighbors who wanted to say what they were thinking, politely but firmly.

Every piece is designed, printed, finished, and packed by hand in the United States. We use durable materials — full-grain leather, brass, canvas, and inks built to outlast the news cycle.
